The Cargo Sheds No. 4 and No. 5-9 South Wharf represent the last (in situ) remaining link with the cargo and berthing facilities of the nineteenth century river port of Melbourne, originally extending to Queen's Bridge, and is now the most eastern part of the port of Melbourne. The Sheds, and associated wharfing, illustrate the small scale methods of cargo-handling direct from ship to wharf, in the era of trans-shipment and before the introduction of roll-on roll-off and container shipment. They have been in use for cargo-handling for over 60 years.

[ read more ]The sober and efficiently designed DOT is intended to lighting indoor facilities with no need for a short-term upgrade and which remain lit up for long periods of time.
It is estimated that thanks to the high technology it features, DOT consumes around 85% less energy than conventional indoor luminaires, meaning the energy saved covers the initial investment in a relatively short space of time.
In the last few years the new RCD Espanyol stadium has already become one of the most important sporting venues in Spain.
The concept was to build a superb modern and multifunctional stadium, but the project architects decided to be more innovative and develop the stadium with world renowned, unique external lighting. Indal was asked to design the lighting scheme for the entire stadium and surrounding area using LED’s with an RGB system for colour change – the latest available technology. [ read more ]
